SMA PRADITA DIRGANTARA (Boyolali) – \u201cThe library is a pile of thousands of dusty books on some rickety shelves, in a shabby room full of dust. It is a stigma of Indonesian people about the description of libraries in ancient times. But the development is so fast, the library is no longer a place to make people sneeze due to dust allergies. Libraries can now be very fun “Brain Tourism” destinations, said Dr. Yulianto Hadi, Principal of SMA Pradita Dirgantara when starting a conversation about libraries at this high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pradita Dirgantara High School Library was inaugurated on January 7, 2020. The Head of the National Library of Indonesia, Mr. Drs. Muh. Syarif Bando M.M. during the inauguration inscription, a performance with a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Chairman of Yasarini, Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto. The National Library helps to facilitate the school library which is named the Prof. BJ Habibie Library as a tangible form of government support in an effort to create superior human resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SMA Pradita Dirgantara Library has a vision to become a center for information and learning resources to create a believer, intelligent, creative, independent and aerospace-minded, SMA Pradita Dirgantara wants to create a library that is not only a place to collect books but also wants to provide learning resources for all. academic sivtas. To realize this big vision, it is translated into several missions, namely 1) To make libraries as the latest information centers and learning resources in order to create superior quality education. 2) Making the reading culture part of the daily activities of the SMA Pradita Dirgantara academic community. 3) Providing maximum service for library visitors in order to create a comfortable and pleasant library atmosphere. 4) Collaborating with an institution and the wider community to develop the quality of the library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SMA Pradita Dirgantara itself designed its library as a Bibliotek, which is a library park where not only books are included but also works from the academics of SMA Pradita Dirgantara that will be displayed there. The library is designed in such a way that all academics of SMA Pradita Dirgantara love reading and science becomes everyday culture. The design of the room is made comfortable with lesehan chairs facing the garden so that visitors feel comfortable and return to visit the place. In addition to a collection of books that are arranged in a number of 3500 titles, this library is also equipped with various complete facilities including a computer to access books and the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a bibliotech or library park, several routine programs are held by the SMA Pradita Dirgantara library such as a literacy program to increase reading interest, regular literacy-related competitions, book reviews once every semester and the selection of Literacy Ambassadors to motivate students to increase knowledge through reading book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this pandemic, Pradita Dirgantara High School library services were carried out through courage. In cooperation with the National Library of Indonesia, SMA Pradita Dirgantara academics can access books on iPusnas for free and have full access. The Ipusnas application can be downloaded via the Playstore or the App Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
