A Total of 24 Domestic and International Universities Join Edufair at SMA Pradita Dirgantara

Boyolali – Pradita Dirgantara High School hosted its annual Education Fair (Edufair) on February 4th and 5th, 2023, spanning two consecutive days. The event, held in the auditorium, was open to the public. Edufair featured participation from 7 foreign universities and 16 domestic ones. Various stakeholders, including Alfalink Solo and high school students from the Central Java region, were extended invitations.

Among the foreign institutions present were Curtin University, The University of Melbourne, Oregon State University, Australian National University, The University of Adelaide, Macquarie University, and Swinburne University.

In parallel, domestic universities were represented by renowned names such as Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Indonesia University (UI), Padjajaran University (Unpad), Brawijaya University (Unbraw), IPB University, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Politeknik Keuangan Negara (STAN), Sebelas Maret University (UNS), Jember University (UNEJ), Universitas Pertahanan (UNHAN), Poltekkes Surakarta, Politeknik Siber dan Sandi Negara, Politeknik Statistika (STIS), Sekolah Tinggi Intelijen Negara (STIN), Politeknik Transportasi Darat Indonesia (STTD), and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran (STIP).

Dwi A. Yuliantoro, the Director of the Directorate of Development at Pradita Dirgantara University, underscored the significance of internationalizing education at an advanced level. Studying abroad offers a multitude of advantages, including fostering independence, broadening global networks, and experiencing education of international calibre.

Nurkholis Novianto, Chairman of the Edufair 2023 Committee, emphasized that the Edufair assists students in making informed decisions about their field of study, choice of country, university selection, application process, documentation, pre-departure orientation, and even in finding suitable accommodations.

Nurkholis further noted that the Edufair was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing parents and the wider public to participate, facilitating discussions on their children's educational plans.
