Boyolali Chairwoman of the Ardhya Garini Foundation (Yasarini), Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a church and daycare center in the vicinity of the 401st Education Squadron (Skadron Pendidikan 401 or Skadik-401), which is adjacent to Pradita Dirgantara High School, on Friday (8/10/2021).
"I hope that the 90 Catholic and Protestant Christian students will feel even more comfortable during worship. Instead of using a special room provided by the school as in the past, a church is now being built. Worship will be even more peaceful and solemn," expressed Mrs. Nanny.
According to Mrs. Nanny, the construction of the church is a testament to Pradita Dirgantara High School's commitment to providing an inclusive environment for students, teachers, and staff of various faiths. This also serves as a demonstration of Yasarini and Pradita Dirgantara High School's commitment to tolerance towards individuals of all faiths.
In addition to the church, a daycare center for children aged 0-5 years will be built on this 5,000 square meter plot of land. The daycare building will also feature comprehensive facilities including a main children's room, library, cultural room, treehouse, and a 430 square meter traffic discipline training area.
Within the same area, a 200 square meter outbound area will also be established. The construction of a daycare center with such comprehensive facilities is certainly good news for the teachers and staff of Pradita Dirgantara High School and the 401st Education Squadron who currently have young children and require daycare support.
Meanwhile, the Director of Development at Pradita Dirgantara High School, Dwi Agus Yuliantoro, also expressed gratitude to Yasarini, especially to the Chairwoman of Yasarini, Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto, who has continuously provided unwavering support for Pradita Dirgantara High School.
"As the academic community, we’d like to truly thank Madam Chairwoman for her tireless support for Pradita Dirgantara High School. The construction of the church and daycare center is evidence of her tolerance and affection towards everyone in this school," said Dwi.
