Enrico and Patuan Secure Silver Medals at Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad

The boarding school, Pradita Dirgantara High School, has once again achieved a notable feat. This time, the achievement was attained by Enrico Al-Madani and Patuan Michael Christian. They successfully secured silver medals in the 'Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad for Indonesian Region, (HKIMO)' a mathematics competition organized by Olympiad Education from Hong Kong and developed by the alumni team of IMO winners from Hong Kong. The award presentation was conducted virtually due to the pandemic on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

According to the official HKIMO page, HKIMO aims to create a platform for math enthusiasts worldwide to come together for educational and cultural exchange. The goal of HKIMO is to nurture students' interest in Mathematical Olympiads and promote them worldwide.

This year, the HKIMO committee invited 21 regions/countries including Indonesia, Bulgaria, Malaysia, Myanmar, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, India, Australia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, China, Iran, Sri Lanka, Laos, and Dhaka Bangladesh to participate.
