Boyolali – Pradita Dirgantara High School students have once again brought pride to Central Java in the 2021 National Science Competition (KSN) at the high school level. Four students have qualified for the National level: Indra Listyanto in Astronomy, Muhammad Shofwan Hakim in Biology, Rizqia Awalinda, and Ardian Hafidz Hanafi in Geology. This information was obtained from the official website of the National Achievement Center (Pusprenas) on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. The four of them are entitled to participate in the national level KSN selection which will take place from October 25 to 30, 2021. Mereka berempat berhak mengikuti seleksi KSN tingkat nasional yang akan berlangsung pada 25 – 30 Oktober 2021.
KSN is one of the highly anticipated national-level science competitions for students, especially within the environment of Pradita Dirgantara High School. KSN is organized by the National Achievement Center, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud-Ristek).
This annual competition aims to boost the spirit and determination of students and facilitate their talents and interests to achieve the best results in the field of science, which has always been a strength of the students.
In addition, KSN is held to select students who will later compete at the international level. This event competes in nine science subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics, biology, astronomy, geology, economics, and geography.
Meanwhile, the Principal of Pradita Dirgantara High School, Yulianto Hadi, expressed great pride in the achievement of these four Pradita Dirgantara High School students. As a relatively young school, Pradita Dirgantara High School has been able to nurture outstanding talents to compete at the national level.
"I truly appreciate the four students who qualified for KSN 2021. I also express my gratitude to the accompanying teachers who have provided extraordinary support to the students at Pradita Dirgantara High School," said Yulianto.
"I hope that these two students who have passed the national level selection can advance to the highest stage, which is the international level," Agus said during the Young Religious Moderator event in Yogyakarta on Friday, September 8, 2021.
This year's KSN carries the theme "Science Rebuilds the Nation," considering Indonesia is still in the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although its implementation was delayed due to the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Emergency, the selection mechanism for KSN, which was held in stages, was eventually conducted using an online system.
