Boyolali – The Ardhya Garini Foundation (Yasarini) and Meikei High School in Japan officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) online on Thursday, October 7, 2021. This collaboration will focus on joint research, student/teacher exchanges (sister school program), and short courses for science teachers from Pradita Dirgantara High School) and Meikei High School. This agreement will create new opportunities for academic development and overseas learning for both institutions.

 

Chairwoman of Yasarini, Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto, expressed that this collaboration demonstrates their commitment to actively engage Pradita Dirgantara High School at the international level. According to Mrs. Nanny, this partnership also plays a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between Indonesia and Japan, especially in the fields of education and bilateral relations.

 

"If there are students from Japan, especially from schools with the IB curriculum, Pradita Dirgantara High School is very open to receiving them. All of this is for the benefit of our children, and that's why today we sign this collaboration with Meikei," said Mrs. Nanny.

 

Meanwhile, the Principal of Meikei High School, Jun Miyazaki, revealed that they are eager to follow up on the collaboration with Pradita Dirgantara High School, particularly the student/teacher exchange program between the two schools.

 

"The Covid-19 pandemic has led to many adjustments in our school programs, one of them being this collaboration with Pradita Dirgantara High School. I personally highly appreciate this MoU and can't wait to implement it soon," said Miyazaki.

 

The collaboration between Pradita Dirgantara High School and Meikei High School will last for 5 years, effective from the date of MoU signing. During this period, both Pradita Dirgantara High School and Meikei will send at least one student for the student exchange program each year. In addition to student exchanges, both parties can also send teachers to directly participate in the teaching process at each school.
