Boyolali SMA Pradita Dirgantara has once again received a remarkable accolade. The Wikara batch (the inaugural alumni group) of Pradita Dirgantara High School, in the 2021 Joint Selection for State Universities (SBMPTN), has been honored by the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI). Today, on Friday (25/6/2021), Wikara was awarded the MURI record for being a high school that successfully propelled 82.26 percent of the first SBMPTN 2021 batch into domestic and international universities/academies. The MURI record presentation took place virtually and was attended by all students, parents, the academic community of Pradita Dirgantara High School, and the leadership of the Yasarini Foundation.
Chairwoman of Yasarini, Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto, who was present at the MURI record presentation, expressed that this achievement surpassed her expectations. As a high school established only three years ago, and for the first time graduating students, this accomplishment is truly a blessing. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and online learning endeavors, it posed no hindrance for the students of Pradita Dirgantara High School, including the alumni participating in this year's SBMPTN.
"This is a blessing for all parties involved, and we have every reason to be grateful. To my dear students, uphold the esteemed reputation of Pradita Dirgantara High School, and continue to pursue your dreams of becoming future global leaders," Mrs. Nanny conveyed.
Meanwhile, the MURI record was conferred after 116 out of 141 applicants were accepted into 26 out of 85 state universities in Indonesia. What's even more astounding is that one class of 30 students saw 29 of them passing the SBMPTN. Another alumnus opted for a scholarship specialization in France. Additionally, there are students who passed this year through the SNMPTN route (2), the Sebelas Maret University achievement route (UNS, 1), the Bandung Institute of Technology international class route (ITB, 1), the Achievement and Equal Opportunity Learning route (PPKBI UI, 1), and the state vocational colleges (1).
And the achievements don't end there. There is one alumnus from the Pekanbaru region, Saffira Azzahra Rizwandi, who achieved a perfect Computer-Based Writing Test (UTBK) score for Physics and Chemistry, namely a score of 1.000. In this year's SBMPTN, Safira secured a place at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), majoring in Chemistry.
In addition to SBMPTN, seven students have been accepted for studies abroad, at esteemed institutions such as the University of Chicago (US), University of Colorado (US), Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore), Tokyo International University (Japan), Monash University (Australia), University of Toronto (Canada), and the University of Oregon (US).
Beyond specializing in studies through the SBMPTN route and foreign universities, there are 26 prospective Air Force Academy cadets, three Naval Academy cadets, one Military Academy cadet, one Police Academy cadet, and ten cadets at the University of Defense.
