Boyolali Since early September 2021, Pradita Dirgantara High School has launched a new program aimed at honing the public speaking abilities of all its students. Dubbed the "Morning Speech," it provides students from all grades the chance to deliver speeches before the school community every Tuesday and Thursday morning.
Commencing at 06:30 AM, the morning speech typically spans less than 20 minutes, coinciding with the morning assembly.
During this time, students tackle topics related to the 17 goals of Sustainable Development (SDGs). They select one of these goals and then present for approximately 5-10 minutes.

This morning, for example, on Thursday (10/7/2021), Aisyah Gusmi, an 11th-grade student, confidently addressed SDG number 4, which emphasizes providing quality education for all. Aisyah expressed her gratitude for the privilege of attending Pradita Dirgantara High School, which offers comprehensive facilities and a full scholarship for three years.
"The disparity in educational opportunities is a harsh reality out there. Personally, I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to attend this high school. I also hope that there will be many kind- hearted individuals or government/private organizations that will focus on education in this field," Aisyah remarked.
Aisyah further explained that the morning speech poses a unique challenge for Pradita Dirgantara High School students. They must learn to navigate their nerves and prepare their material thoroughly.
"As per the school's vision and mission, mastering public speaking is essential for those aspiring to become future leaders. Yes, there may be nervousness, but with a solid grasp of the material, God willing, you won't falter during the speech," Aisyah concluded.
