Boyolali – Pradita Dirgantara High School has unveiled the Pradita Dirgantara Competition (PDC 2021), a contest focusing on science, mathematics, and language. This event, which has been running since 2018, is designed for junior high school students and aims to nurture their talents, interests, and achievements, as well as identify potential candidates for enrollment at Pradita Dirgantara High School.
In 2021, PDC carries the theme "Sustainable Environment, Soaring into the Skies, Myriad Achievements." This theme is in line with the core values instilled at Pradita Dirgantara High School, which revolve around aeronautics and a deep appreciation for the natural world.

Yuliantoro, Director of Development at Pradita Dirgantara High School, stated, "PDC 2021 reflects Pradita Dirgantara High School's commitment to contribute to the advancement of science in Indonesia, especially for junior high school students who may eventually become Pradita Dirgantara High School students."

This year, the event is being conducted virtually, allowing participants to engage in the competition more conveniently and ensuring safety from the Covid-19 virus.
The competitions featured this year include math olympiad, science olympiad, story-telling, Indonesian speech, and poetry in three languages (French, German, and Japanese).
According to Dwi, this competition is also part of Pradita Dirgantara High School's agenda to spot outstanding local talents who may potentially become part of Pradita Dirgantara High School.
"I hope that through PDC 2021, we can identify local talents who have excelled so far. This competition also encourages our students to think creatively. I believe that creativity is the root of innovation," added Dwi.
To participate in PDC 2021, students in grades 7, 8, and 9 at the junior high school level are eligible, and schools are allowed to submit more than one participant. Registration for PDC 2021 has been open since December 1, 2021, until January 2, 2022. The deadline for language submissions will be on January 5, 2022, followed by the trial on January 9, 2022, the elimination round on January 11, 2022, the semi-finals on January 12, 2022, and finally, the finals and announcement on January 13, 2022.
