Boyolali Today, Friday (23/7/2021), marks a truly special occasion. A total of 20 graduates from Pradita Dirgantara High School have officially been selected as prospective male and female cadets for the Indonesian Air Force Academy (Catar AAU). Among them, 18 young men and 2 young women from Pradita Dirgantara High School have successfully cleared the rigorous AAU 2021 selection process. This accomplishment feels like a double celebration, especially after nearly 100% of the alumni gained admission to 26 state universities (PTNs) nationwide in mid- June. Additionally, some graduates secured spots in foreign universities.
As it is known, the 20 graduates who successfully navigated this selection process faced fierce competition from 257 other AAU candidates (consisting of 227 male candidates and 30 female candidates). They commenced central selection proceedings on June 28, 2021, at Setukpa TNI AU Lanud SMO, Surakarta.
Throughout their time at Setukpa, they were isolated. All communication devices were confiscated, and the environment needed to be entirely free from external influence, including communication with family. Following today's announcement of their acceptance on July 26, 2021, these 20 alumni will officially begin their education in Magelang and participate in the final central selection. Subsequently, they will undergo rigorous training to become officers over the next four years.
