Boyolali Teaming up with the Institut Français Indonesia (IFI), Pradita Dirgantara High School hosted a vibrant French Day on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at the country corner on the first floor of the new Pradita Dirgantara High School building.
Ajeng Putri Patriwi, the French language instructor at Pradita Dirgantara High School, shared that the French Day aimed to foster international mindedness among students, particularly those aspiring to pursue studies abroad post-graduation.
"I am truly thankful that we have a designated space for France and other nations, broadening our students' perspectives," mentioned Ajeng during the event attended by the entire Pradita Dirgantara High School student body.
On the other hand, François Dabin, Director of IFI, expressed his warm reception of the collaboration with Pradita Dirgantara High School for the French Day. He also commended the commendable proficiency in the French language demonstrated by Pradita Dirgantara High School students, stating, "Pour le niveau lycée, son français est bon (For high school level, their French is good)," according to François.
Marking its debut at Pradita Dirgantara High School, the French Day witnessed a lively atmosphere. Several French-themed activities captivated the students' interest, including presentations on advanced studies in France, film screenings, board games, and even a demonstration of French cuisine.
Amidst the French Day, students engaged in informal discussions with the IFI staff, who were present throughout the event. Among them were Arya Seta (Head of Teaching Department), Andraine A. Febreinza (Responsable Campus France Indonésie), and Wilfridus Pradnya (IFI Librarian).
