Boyolali - SMA Pradita Dirgantara is a member of the UNESCO Associated Schools' Network (ASPnet). One of the programs within UNESCO ASPNet aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) outlined by the United Nations. Now, as an ASPnet member, teachers and students at Pradita Dirgantara High School are tasked with developing school projects, one of which focuses on hydroponics—an urban farming technique that utilizes various growing media.
The introduction of hydroponics in the curriculum aims to expand students' knowledge, promote environmental conservation, support the provision of healthy food, and instil an entrepreneurial spirit among Pradita Dirgantara High School students. These students are encouraged to become job creators rather than job seekers. Engaging in hydroponic farming also allows students to learn valuable skills outdoors, extending their education beyond the confines of the classroom. This initiative aligns with the government's efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
