The Indonesian Language Olympiad at Pradita Dirgantara High School offers total prizes in the tens of millions. In mid-2023, Pradita Dirgantara High School is organizing a national-level competition known as PDComp. While the event traditionally focuses on academic fields such as science and mathematics, this year brings a special twist: the inclusion of the Indonesian Language Olympiad within PDComp. PDComp is a prominent component of the broader PDC Series organized by Pradita Dirgantara High School, with a primary focus on academic pursuits.
At the junior high school level, a separate Indonesian Language Olympiad will feature a diverse range of question types, including multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, and essay questions. With a variety of challenges awaiting, the victors stand to receive substantial cash prizes, along with certificates and prestigious trophies as accolades.
The Indonesian Language Olympiad with Generous Prizes
To participate in this competition, individuals must be registered as junior high school students and complete the registration process using their school-issued IDs. Registration will be conducted in three sessions, spanning from May 1st to May 31st, 2023. Furthermore, participants are required to attend a technical meeting (TM) held after completing their registration on the official PDComp 2023 website.
Pradita Dirgantara High School is leveraging technology by employing a Computer Based Test (CBT) for the competition. Therefore, a system trial session will be arranged at the specified time as outlined in the technical instructions.
Throughout the various stages of the competition, winners will be awarded significant cash prizes, reaching into the millions of rupiah for the first, second, and third place finishers. PDComp 2023 will also issue certificates and trophies commensurate with a nationally- recognized competition for all junior high school students across Indonesia.
Collaboration with the University of Adelaide and the University of Sydney
Once again, PDComp serves as a platform for elevating the standard of education for all participating students. As a language olympiad within the PDC Series 2023, this competition not only fosters competitiveness but also integrates a cultural dimension into the materials presented to participants. This is exemplified by its slogan, "Diverse Cultures, Limitless Skies," emphasizing the pursuit of knowledge to its fullest extent while celebrating Indonesia's cultural diversity.
In the pursuit of academic excellence, all participants—whether victors of this national olympiad or not—will be provided with webinars featuring lessons from the University of Adelaide and the University of Sydney, Australia. Thus, PDComp offers insights from abroad while remaining rooted in the Indonesian context.
This competition represents a golden opportunity for participants to gauge their abilities while gaining valuable experience in a national-level competition. Keep in mind, PDComp 2023 is open to the general public across Indonesia, encompassing ages 13 to 22! So, don't hesitate! For those eager to participate in PDComp, online registration is now available through the official PDComp website. Seize this chance to enhance your proficiency in using Microsoft Office!
