SMA Pradita Dirgantara Hosts the Prestigious Science Olympiad Event
PDComp is part of the national science olympiad PDC Series organized by Pradita Dirgantara High School. The PDC Series focuses on academic fields and is open to both high school students and the general public. It includes various competitions such as the Indonesian Language Olympiad, English Speech Competition, Mathematics Olympiad, Science Olympiad, Scientific Writing Competition, and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS).
At the junior high school level, there are also the Indonesian Language Olympiad, Mathematics Olympiad, and Science Olympiad, covering subjects like biology, physics, and chemistry. Participants will face various types of questions including multiple choice, fill in the blanks, essays, and more. Winners will receive substantial cash prizes, certificates, and award trophies.
The English Speech Competition and Scientific Writing Competition are held for high school students nationwide. Both prestigious competitions have their own respective themes. The English speech must be themed "Protecting Culture and Value." Meanwhile, the science research competition focuses on the theme "Culture enriches our lives in countless ways and helps build inclusive, innovative and resilient communities." (UNESCO) and/or aerospace (space, aircraft, and others). It's worth noting that while the National English Speech Competition requires individual participation, the research competition can be done individually or in groups of up to two high school students.
PDCompetition Microsoft Office Specialist
For the general public aged 13-22 years old, there is also the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) competition. This competition can be conducted both online and offline. For the offline event, participants will have the opportunity to take the exam in the Computer Laboratory of Pradita Dirgantara High School. The MOS competition is divided into three categories: Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. This competition will provide benefits such as internationally recognized certificates if participants achieve specific competition targets, along with cash prizes.
It's worth noting that the PDC Series has been spreading its wings since 2018. This year, the innovation is represented by the fragrance of our rich culture, manifested in the slogan, "Diverse Cultures, Limitless Skies." This slogan signifies the hope that this competition can emphasize the essence of seeking knowledge to the highest level while honoring the diversity of Indonesian culture.
