SMA PRADITA DIRGANTARA (Jakarta) – Following up on the teleconference held on October 9, 2020 with the Embassy of the Republic of France in Indonesia, SMA Pradita Dirgantara signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU / Memorandum of Understanding) with IFI (Institute Francais d’Indonesie). This collaboration is related to the establishment, management and development of educational and cultural services for students. The event was held offline in the auditorium of the Ardhya Garini Foundation Jakarta office today, Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
The signing was carried out by Mrs. Nanny Hadi Tjahyanto as the general chairman of the Ardhya Garini Foundation and Dr. Stéphane DOVERT as Director of the IFI (Institut Français d’Indonésie). Present on this occasion Dr. Philippe GRANGE (French Cooperation Attache), Madame Philomène Robin (Education and Higher Education Cooperation Attaché) and Colonel (Eng) David Cordier (Deputy Defense Attaché). The signing of this memorandum of understanding was also attended by Mrs. Inong Fadjar Prasetyo, Deputy Chairperson of Yasarini and chairman of PIA Ardhya Garini, Director of the Directorate of School Development Pradita Dirgantara, Dwi Agus Yuliantoro, Ph.D, Principal of SMA Pradita Dirgantara Dr. Yulianto Hadi, Pradita Dirgantara officials and Yasarini board members.
“This cooperation program in the field of education and culture includes the establishment of” Warung French “, language and culture learning program, sister school program, French Advanced Study Program. This collaboration is a form of good faith to improve the quality of education that is able to build a noble culture. Stéphan DOVERT from IFI (Institut Français d’Indonésie) in his speech expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration. “I would like to greet with enthusiasm because this cooperation is a strategic relationship between France and Indonesia, we must together prepare new generations for national leaders with education is the key. This cooperation is not limited by space and time if possible forever. ” Said Mr. Stéphan DOVERT.
The things that were agreed upon were the establishment of a French shop at Pradita Dirgantara High School to introduce French culture and a French Advanced Study Program that would facilitate students who would continue their studies in France. In the French Advanced Study Program, students will be prepared starting from class X with French language preparation, so that in class XI, XII students can learn French with a native French speaking teacher. This program will make it easier for students who will continue their studies in France.
Another program that will be initiated by both parties is the sister school, where there will be an exchange of students and teachers from Indonesia to France and vice versa. This program aims to improve skills, competencies, experience and cross culture understanding.
SMA Pradita Dirgantara welcomes this collaboration. “We are very happy because this signing is a continuation of the discussions that were carried out through the previous zoom. In the end, a memorandum of understanding was signed which was also the gateway for this collaboration.” Said Dwi A. Yuliantoro, Director of the Directorate of School Development Pradita Dirgantara. SMA Pradita Dirgantara also hopes that a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) will soon be prepared so that this program can be implemented soon. “After the MoU is expected to be drafted an MoA soon, I hope this program can be implemented immediately, especially the establishment of the French Stall so that we are closer to French education and culture as well as intensive educational and cultural learning.” Said Dr. Sutanto, Manager of Quality Assurance.
